What we do & how you can work with us
Our chat moderators are engaged in text-based online chats, in one or more online social community platforms. Their objective is to animate those communities, stimulate conversations and therby cultivate long lasting realtionships. Creating an engaging and imaginative experience for customers is key to the success of this enterprise. Our chat moderators entertain customers, build rappport, and develop lasting relationships with customers by making the customer feel good about themselves.
Chat moderators working with Cloudworkers are provided with flexible, exciting and uncomplicated opportunities to utilize their language skills and earn a reliable monthly income as an independent freelance moderator with positions available either on a part-time or full-time basis!
In order to work, our chat moderators simply login online via our chat interface anywhere in the world and instantly communicate with our customers. Chat moderators should be open to engaging in high quality dialogues of an adult nature on the various chat platforms.

Each moderator fills in a wish list indicating which shifts he or she can work and which cannot. The weekly shift schedule is created on this basis.
You need a laptop or a PC. Another requirement is a reliable internet connection as the job cannot be done without internet.
No, absolutely not! We never have or ever will charge fees to the moderators on our team!
Gender is of no relevance to the selection of applicants for available positions.
Payments are made within the first 10 business days of the month for the work done in the prior month. Payments can be made either via bank transfer or Paypal transfer.
Yes, as successful candidate are hired on a freelance basis, invoices are required to release payments. However, if you need help with this, our team leaders will do so gladly.
Training is mandatory before you may start to work and earn. However, it will only require about an hour of your time and will be conducted by one of our team leaders via skype or telephone.
As a freelancer you can take a vacation whenever you want. But please let us know shortly before so that we can include your vacation in our shift plans.
Yes, that is indeed possible so long as you possess competent language skills for that project.
Yes, as we need to both confirm your identity and that you are over 18 years old.
Yes, your information is safe with us and will not be shared for any other purpose. The data is only stored for our employee database.
For our chat projects it is only possible to work as a freelancer.
No, you do not have to reveal your true identity to anyone. You remain completely anonymous to the customers.
The contract can be cancelled by both parties with prior notice on the 15th of the month at the latest at the end of the month.
The contracts are countersigned, stamped and sent as a scanned copy by mail to the new agents. If required, we will send you the original contract by mail.
No, we would only ever contact you by phone in an extremely urgent scenario.
